control port won't work in winme also asio not wor

Hi, can anyone tell me why control port and asio is not working under WINme. All worked in win98r2. Terratec said oh you're using your synthesizer on irq9, change it!.Ok, that was true, i changed it with lot's of hasle to irq 11, even changed the eeprom settings. That's working finally and then it seems like everything is ok, but when i restart winme then again the control port is not working and maybe thats why asio is not working. Somebody please help?!?!?!? Also terratec says that they not yet will support winme. maybe in the future. I hope they do because winme is the new win98...

I'm currently running WinME.
Below are my settings for the EWS64XL
Everything disabled except the ews digital control and the synth.
Dig control addr 328
XL synth irq 5 addr 330
Perhaps it is of any use.
